Overview
The book is a critical, polemical examination of society's uncritical faith in computers and in the institutions that build and promote them. Ivor Catt (1935–2024) was a British electronics engineer known for pioneering work on high-speed digital interconnection and wafer-scale integration, and for a long-running critique of conventional electromagnetic theory. See also his Digital Hardware Design.
