Steve Jackson is a Canadian electrical engineer based in Brantford, Ontario, and a member of the IEEE Hamilton Section. He is known within the alternative-physics community for his work replicating and promoting Tesla's wireless power transmission, for which he advocates an aether-based interpretation of electromagnetism drawing on the ideas of Konstantin Meyl.
Biography
Jackson graduated in electrical engineering from the University of Toronto (Class of 7T2, 1972). Working as a practicing engineer, he came to regard conventional electromagnetic theory as incomplete, an outlook he traces to his student years. In 2007 he encountered the work of Professor Konstantin Meyl on scalar waves and Tesla's transmission concepts, and subsequently pursued experimental replication of Tesla's wireless power apparatus. After attending the TeslaTech conference in 2010, Jackson concluded that the aether plays a central role in electrical phenomena.
Work
Jackson's principal activity has been the reconstruction and public documentation of Tesla's wireless power transmission, which he interprets through the framework of aether physics, vortex physics and overunity. On March 24, 2011 he presented "Tesla's Wireless Power Transmission" to the IEEE Hamilton Section. He released an open-source project titled "Tesla's Wireless Aetheric Power Transmission" through the Pure Energy Systems Network (PESWiki), publishing a parts list and construction instructions in April 2011 and offering the plans free of charge. He also maintained mailing lists for interested practitioners. Jackson argues that working engineers should investigate non-standard electrical physics independently of academic endorsement, and frames the revival of Tesla's ideas as an engineering responsibility, describing Tesla as "The Engineer's Engineer."
