Ralph Biggins is a Spacecraft Operations Engineer at the European Space Agency (ESA) who is known for his independent investigation of the Electric Universe concept.
Biography
Biggins works at ESA's European Spacecraft Operations Centre (ESOC) in Darmstadt, Germany. In his professional role he has supported the operation of ESA science missions, including the Herschel and Planck space observatories. Outside of his professional work he actively examines the validity of the Electric Universe concept, comparing conventional cosmological models with the predictions of the Electric Universe by studying data returned by spacecraft and ground-based telescopes.
Work
Biggins presented at the Electric Universe 2013 (EU2013) conference organized by The Thunderbolts Project, where he delivered a talk titled "Measuring the Cosmos." In the presentation he discussed the methods used to determine astronomical distances and to establish a reliable cosmic measurement standard, drawing on original data from spacecraft such as Hipparcos and Ulysses as well as ground-based telescopes. He reviewed how forthcoming missions such as Gaia and Solar Orbiter were expected to refine these measurements, and he critically compared the standard cosmology model with the Electric Universe concept.
