Onar Åm (born 3 January 1973), also rendered Onar Om, is a Norwegian writer, philosopher and independent researcher based in Stavanger, Rogaland, Norway. His interests span philosophy, biology, cosmology and physics, and he has written on political and social themes as well as on climate and energy.

Biography

Åm was born on 3 January 1973 and is based in Stavanger, Norway. He is associated with the University of Stavanger, where his listed research interests include active galactic nuclei and high-energy astrophysics. Alongside his work in the natural sciences, he is active as a writer, commentator and blogger, publishing on philosophy, politics, technology and energy through his website onarki.no.
