Miloš Abadžić (born 31 March 1932) is a Serbian electrical engineer and independent natural philosopher. During his professional career he specialized in high-voltage switching technology, and after retiring in 1992 he turned to theoretical physics and cosmology, developing an alternative framework he calls the Naturalistic (or Natural) Model of Nature.
Biography
Abadžić spent his engineering career at the Institute for Electric Power Engineering of ENERGOINVEST in Sarajevo, where he developed and studied high-voltage circuit breakers, switchgears and electrical arcs. He was also active at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering (ETF) in Sarajevo and Banja Luka, where his work centred on the optimal use of the characteristics of electrical arcs.
He retired in 1992 and subsequently devoted himself to physics, initially seeking to understand the nature of electrical arcing and later broadening his interest to elementary particles and cosmology. Abadžić lives in Belgrade, Serbia. His son, [/php2/index.php?tab0=Scientists&tab1=Display&id=236 Igor H. Abadzic], lives in Plano, Texas.
Scientific contributions
Working independently after his retirement, Abadžić produced a body of writing describing what he calls the Naturalistic (or Natural) Model of Nature (NMN). A central premise of the model is the conceptual separation of "material" and "electrical" substance, which conventional physics treats as inseparable aspects of the electron, so that their respective phenomena and processes can be tracked separately. On this basis he proposes unified natural laws intended to relate both substances and to account for the formation of sub-atomic structures, the behaviour of electrons in atoms, the nature of light and the photon, and the evolution of the cosmos.
Abadžić set out the model in his 2006 Serbian-language book Razmišljanja o prirodi prirode (Reflections on the Nature of Nature) and in a series of articles, several of which were published through the wbabin.net science journals. He later expanded the framework in the two-volume work Prirodni model prirode (Natural Model of Nature), the second volume of which appeared in 2014. His conclusions on topics such as quantization, Planck's constant and the Higgs mechanism run counter to those of mainstream physics.
