Michael Studencki (born December 3, 1982) is a Polish IT engineer and independent researcher based in Żywiec, Poland. He describes his interests as spanning atomic structure, quantum theory, quantum computing, IT, AI & cognitive science, consciousness, electrodynamics, gravity, the Ether, DNA, biochemistry, geometry, Vedic maths, ancient technology and cymatics. His work is pursued outside mainstream academic physics.
Biography
Studencki has described himself as driven from childhood by curiosity about how the natural world works. According to his own account he learned to read at about the age of five and, growing up in a house full of books, read widely on scientific subjects from an early age, including works on electricity, atoms, chemical reactions, molecules, combustion engines and living cells while still in primary school. He recalls dismantling toys to understand their mechanisms and experimenting with electricity, including an attempt to build a half-adder circuit from electromagnets.
He has stated that he found formal schooling in physics and chemistry disappointing, feeling that the material was taught too simply or too late. He objected in particular to being taught the Bohr model of the atom, which he criticized as being two-dimensional and, in his view, unable to describe three-dimensional objects, and he questioned the wave–particle duality of matter.
Studencki went on to study computer science, later describing himself as already proficient at programming, having owned his first computer from around the age of twelve and learned several programming languages, computer graphics, databases and web development. After trying several jobs he chose to work independently rather than in conventional employment, and has since devoted his time to self-directed scientific research.
He credits much of his education to independent study using online resources, eBooks, papers and recorded university lectures — citing among others the physics lectures of Walter Lewin and material from institutions such as MIT, Princeton and Caltech ("The Mechanical Universe"). His stated fields of self-study include mathematics, physics, biology, biochemistry, astronomy, ancient history, languages, computer science and psychology, alongside topics such as alchemy, occultism, spirituality, consciousness, comparative religion, paleocontact and sacred geometry.
Views
Studencki holds that nature is fundamentally simple and comprehensible to human beings. He has expressed a view of the universe as a "living machine" or self-similar cosmic computer, organized across scales from atoms and molecules through cells, organisms, ecosystems, planets and galaxies, with the purpose of scientific inquiry being to understand how this system — and human beings within it — works. These positions are held outside the framework of mainstream physics.
