Klaus Rauber (born 1959) is a German electrical engineer and implosion researcher who serves as first chairman of the Verein für Implosionsforschung und Anwendung e.V. (Association for Implosion Research and Application) and as managing editor of the magazine Implosion. Based in Zell am Harmersbach, Germany, he works to continue and apply the ideas of the Austrian naturalist and inventor Viktor Schauberger.
Biography
Rauber was born in 1959. He trained as an electrical engineer and worked professionally in the field of servo drive technology. Beginning in the 1990s he took up the study and practical implementation of the findings of Viktor Schauberger and his son, the engineer Walter Schauberger.
He was instrumental in establishing the German Verein für Implosionsforschung und Anwendung e.V., founded in 1995 to spread the ideas of Viktor and Walter Schauberger. Since August 1995 he has served as managing editor of the association's magazine Implosion. Since 2001 he has been the association's first chairman, a role in which he also organizes its seminars and conferences.
Work
Rauber maintains the association's Implosion website and edits Implosion magazine, both intended to carry on the work of Viktor Schauberger. The magazine, together with conferences and seminars, is the association's principal means of disseminating Schauberger's concepts.
With members of the association, Rauber devotes himself to the construction of prototypes based on the inventions of Viktor and Walter Schauberger. Reported applications include hyperbolic copper funnels intended to improve water quality in bodies of water, and near-natural river engineering methods described after Schauberger's principles. The association holds an annual autumn conference at which current projects and models are presented.
