Jason Ross is an American science writer and editor associated with the movement founded by Lyndon LaRouche. He is the editor-in-chief of 21st Century Science & Technology and serves as a science advisor to the Schiller Institute.
Biography
Ross has reportedly attended Stanford University before leaving to join the LaRouche movement. He became a member of the LaRouche science research team, informally known as "the Basement," based in Virginia, which worked directly with Lyndon LaRouche on scientific and economic questions. In addition to his editorship of 21st Century Science & Technology, he has served as a director of the LaRouche Organization and as a correspondent and webmaster for the Executive Intelligence Review.
Work
Ross writes and lectures on the history of scientific discovery, tracing a line of development that he associates with figures such as Johannes Kepler, Carl Friedrich Gauss, and Bernhard Riemann. His articles and presentations address topics including fusion power, planetary defense, space exploration, large-scale infrastructure, and economic policy. He has drawn on the work of the Russian-Ukrainian scientist Vladimir Vernadsky and on themes of human creativity as a driving force in the economy and the natural world. Ross has contributed extensively to Schiller Institute publications and conferences and to the Executive Intelligence Review.
