Wolfram Bahmann is a German researcher and organiser in the "new energy" movement, known for promoting the idea that usable energy can be extracted from the vacuum or aether. He is listed in The Worldwide List of Dissident Scientists.
Work
Bahmann has been active in the vacuum-field-energy community, serving as a board member of the Institute for New Energy (INE) in Germany and as president of the German association for vacuum field energy (DVS). He presented work on the "de-coupling of aether-energy by plasma discharges," reviewing and building on earlier claims by researchers such as Harold Puthoff, A. V. Chernetskii and Paulo Correa (the "Pulsed Abnormal Glow Discharge"). His position, that the zero-point or vacuum field can serve as a practical energy source, lies outside the scientific mainstream.
