Dorotheos C.E. Cody is an author known for writings challenging the relativity of time and length, published in the Journal of Borderland Research. He is listed in The Worldwide List of Dissident Scientists.

Ideas

Cody argued for the existence of absolute time, in opposition to the relativity of simultaneity in Einstein's special relativity. His article "Existence of Absolute Time" appeared in the Journal of Borderland Research, Vol. XLVIII, No. 3 (May–June 1992), published by the Borderland Sciences Research Foundation. He also contributed an article on the "Lorentz Contraction of Length" to an earlier (1991) issue of the same journal. These arguments run counter to the accepted relativistic treatment of space and time and appeared in a fringe-science publication rather than in mainstream physics journals.
