Don Haney is an American electrical engineer, statistician and educator based in El Paso, Texas. He is known for his interest in space and the Electric Universe model, and for his involvement with the American Society for Quality and the National Space Society.
Biography
Haney earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and a Doctorate in Engineering Management – essentially applied mathematics, encompassing statistics and operations research – from Clemson University.
He served in the United States Air Force as a scientific analyst and engineering development officer. He subsequently entered academia as a business school professor at various universities and colleges. He teaches mathematics and business at El Paso Community College and the University of Texas at El Paso.

He is associated with the American Society for Quality, where he has been active in the Greater El Paso section, and with the National Space Society.
