David Puchta (also cited as David A. Puchta) is an independent experimental researcher associated with Proton Spin Technology Inc., known in the independent-inventor community for three linked lines of work: the Linear Magneto Effect, an anomaly he reports from driving electromagnetic energy against a crystalline structure; the amplification of gravity, which he approaches empirically through bench testers rather than through theory; and proton spin technology applied to hydrogen production and claimed low-energy fusion. He has presented this work publicly at the ExtraOrdinary Technology Conference over more than a decade, and his consistent position is that the phenomena should be judged from hardware running in front of an audience rather than from argument.
Biography
Public sources say little about Puchta's education or early career, and this article does not fill the gap with speculation. He describes the origin of his gravity work as accidental and industrial: in 1997, while working around Mercedes-Benz, he was examining very high voltage discharges through a xenon headlight transformer, and reports that "a slight modification lifted a salt shaker on a thin wire with 35W". By his account he circulated the device around the shop for a week and the others present agreed that he "made some sort of gravity defying device". He is associated with Proton Spin Technology Inc., which he describes as a research and development company working on hydrogen and fusion systems.
Scientific contributions
The Linear Magneto Effect
Puchta's 2015 conference presentation set out the effect as an experimental finding rather than a prediction: "A study of bouncing electromagnetic forces off of a crystalline structure and measuring the response energy revealed an anomaly referred to as the Linear Magneto Effect." He reports that amplifying the anomaly produced what he regards as the basis of a new energy platform, and that extensive laboratory time has been devoted to characterising it.
He gives the amplified form of the effect the name Linear Paul Magnatizum, adopting the deliberate misspelling of "magnetic" — "magnatizum" — to signal that in his interpretation the phenomenon is gravitational-wave in nature rather than conventionally magnetic. This is an unusually explicit piece of terminology: the spelling itself is the claim that the effect does not belong to ordinary electromagnetism.
The practical embodiment he presents is the HydroMe TrueFuel cell, which he says uses Linear Paul Magnatizum to produce what he calls BlewMe fuel — a high-lipid oil algae grown on demand from saltwater, with the frequency chain altered so as to grow elements in isolation from one another. He relates the underlying effects to those already reported in cold fusion and pulse electrolysis, and describes his own step as having "turn[ed] on the 'off time' all the time" — that is, removing the duty-cycle gap that pulsed-electrolysis researchers normally work with.
Gravity beyond orthodox concepts
Puchta opened the 2016 ExtraOrdinary Technology Conference with a talk on gravity investigated by empirical methods. His account connects the 1997 headlight-transformer observation to a later one: in 2010, he reports, the same device placed next to the HydroMe linear magnetic circuit "shook violently with no power hooked up", and when raised above the cell "it climbed up and I could feel a force". This, he says, validated an observational tester he had built in 2006 whose operation he could reproduce without at the time understanding it.
From that point his method has been deliberately instrumental rather than theoretical: he reports that after "hundreds of hours of gravity sensitive experience with testers" he arrived at what he considers an accurate account of gravity — what it is, where it originates, how it arises in nature, and how it can be amplified. His headline claim from this work is a bench device: "My most impressive observational tester amplifies ambient gravitational waves and lifts 10g with no power input." The framing is characteristic of the empirical wing of this community — the tester is offered as an object to be examined, not as a derivation to be accepted.
Proton spin technology, hydrogen and fusion
By 2021 Puchta's public work had moved to Proton Spin Technology Inc., which he describes as "a research and development company that consistently demonstrates hydrogen and fusion reactions", with the emphasis "on hands-on physical results". At that year's conference he ran week-long live demonstrations rather than confining the work to a lecture slot, including high-pressure electrolysis hydrogen injection systems and the HydroMe TrueFuel Cells hydrogen injection system — which he is careful to distinguish from HHO or Brown's gas apparatus — together with a "DeLovley Fusion" demonstration producing flowing steam, in which he reports cherry-red-hot 20-gauge electrodes carrying milliwatts of input while yielding thousands of BTUs of output.
Consistent with his stated position that this work stands or falls on measurement, the conference programme recorded that attendees were "encouraged to bring their own meters and test equipment for the week-long running demonstrations to see extraordinary results for themselves". He has also spoken publicly on superconducting hydride fuel formulas as a route to fusion, and on laser machining at Proton Spin Technology.
The claims described in this section are Puchta's own, as presented in the conference programmes and his own recorded talks. No independent measurement or replication of the gravity-amplification tester, the Linear Magneto Effect or the DeLovley fusion demonstration has been published, and this article does not assert one.
