Daniel Kronick is a German-language author known for his book Das Quantengedächtnis – Warum der Mensch unsterblich ist ("The Quantum Memory – Why Man Is Immortal"), in which he argues that findings of modern quantum physics support the idea of an immortal human soul. He is listed in The Worldwide List of Dissident Scientists.
Work
In Das Quantengedächtnis, published by Contessa Verlag, Kronick presents what he calls a cosmological theory of the "quantum memory". Drawing on interpretations of quantum theory, he contends that information is never lost from the universe, so that everything a person has seen, done and experienced would be preserved permanently. On this basis he offers the theory as evidence for the immortality of the human soul.
His theses are frequently grouped with the writings of authors such as Rupert Sheldrake and Ervin László, and are situated in the borderland between physics, philosophy and eschatology rather than within mainstream physics. His ideas have been presented in German alternative-science media, including a discussion on the online broadcaster nexworld.TV.
