Chuck Reithmeyer (born March 26, 1958) is an American automotive technician and amateur alternative-energy researcher based in Leonardtown, Maryland. He is an independent experimenter in the field of New Energy, and is known for his work with Rodin Coil devices and hydroxy (HHO) fuel generation.

Biography

Reithmeyer lives in Southern Maryland, in the Solomons area along the Patuxent and Lower Potomac Rivers and the Middle Chesapeake Bay. He is the father of four sons, and his outdoor interests include hunting, fishing, crabbing by trotline, camping, and boating.

By trade, Reithmeyer worked for more than 33 years as an automotive, truck, heavy-equipment, marine, and specialty-equipment diagnostic and repair technician in the Washington, D.C. suburbs, and was a business owner. He is a Master Certified Electrical and Mechanical Technician (ASE) and a former General Motors technician. His shop skills include machining, sheet-metal work, and welding, along with auto and truck body work, painting, prefabrication, and the use of fiberglass resins and polymers.

In 2001 he earned CompTIA A+ certification in computer hardware and software build and repair, and in 2003 he completed an MCSE (Windows NT/2000 Professional and Server) program at the College of Southern Maryland. Through his work in the Washington area, he reports having encountered people associated with the Naval Research Laboratory, Goddard Space Flight Center, the Calvert Cliffs Nuclear Power Plant, and the National Air and Space Museum.

Work

As a hobby, Reithmeyer conducts research and development in what he calls naturalist science, focusing on hydrogen fuel cells, solar capacitor batteries, and electronic "free energy." He states that his life's pursuit is cleaning up the waterways of the United States.

Reithmeyer's approach draws on his background as a ham radio operator, his interest in the tuning of electricity, and his fascination with metallurgy developed through welding. He holds the view that matter is only temporarily held together by electromagnetic energy, using the analogy of a magnet whose polar field can be momentarily neutralized by a sharp impact, and suggesting that different metals and materials vibrate at different frequencies.

His experimental interests have included solar battery capacitors using external battery plates, the extraction of alternative "free energy" from raw periodic-table element materials, and the inductive charging of capacitors and automotive storage ignition coils as an alternative to silicon ingots. He summarizes his diagnostic and design philosophy with the maxim "keep it simple."
