Chris Toussaint (also credited as Christopher Toussaint) is a documentary film producer and director who has made several films about "free energy", "zero-point energy" and other unconventional energy technologies. He is listed in The Worldwide List of Dissident Scientists.
Work
Toussaint founded the production company Free Spirit Productions and directed the feature-length documentary Free Energy: The Race to Zero Point (1997), which surveys inventors and researchers claiming to develop non-polluting or "over-unity" energy devices, from Nikola Tesla to later experimenters. The film is hosted by former ABC Radio broadcaster Bill Jenkins.
He later developed Ultimate Energy Showdown, a proposed television series intended to test and debate the validity of new-energy devices such as magnetic motors, crystal batteries and unconventional electric generators. The claims featured in these productions - self-running magnetic motors and machines that draw usable energy from the vacuum or from magnetism alone - fall outside accepted physics and are not recognized by the scientific mainstream.
Toussaint's other credited film work includes documentary and video projects unrelated to energy.
