Bishal Banjara is a Nepalese independent physics researcher whose work centers on gravitation, general relativity and cosmology. Based in the Kavre district of Bagmati Province, Nepal, he has published papers reconsidering the foundations of classical mechanics and the relationship between Newtonian gravity and relativistic theory.
Biography
Banjara is based in Kavre, Bagmati Province, Nepal, and has been associated with the physics research community centred on Kathmandu University in Dhulikhel. Working largely as an independent researcher, he has posted and discussed questions on the foundations of gravitation and relativity through academic networks such as ResearchGate.
Work
Banjara's research addresses theoretical aspects of gravitation and classical mechanics. In 2012 he published "Change in the Concept of Equilibriums and Reformulation for Newton's Second Law in Presence and in Absence of Gravitational Field" in the International Journal of Scientific & Engineering Research. His later work includes "A new course of relative acceleration within Classical regime" and "False Two-Body Problem Reduction and Formulation," which examine acceleration and the two-body problem in a classical gravitational setting.
His discussions have also considered such questions as the local reduction of general relativity to special relativity from the perspective of the Schwarzschild line element, and the physical consequences of treating gravitational potential as positive rather than negative.
