Albert Einstein oder Der Irrtum eines Jahrhunderts ("Albert Einstein, or The Error of a Century") is a 2004 German-language book by Christoph von Mettenheim.

Overview

The book presents Mettenheim's critique of Einstein's theory of relativity, applying Karl Popper's criterion of falsifiability to argue — on logical rather than mathematical grounds — that relativity is philosophically deficient, and outlining his own ether-based alternative account of gravitation. It develops in German the arguments of his English-language works Popper Versus Einstein and Einstein, Popper and the Crisis of Theoretical Physics.
