"The Lilliput Effect: Gravity and Mass Extinction" is an article by Stephen W Hurrell published on 30 January 2019 on Beyond Mainstream.

Hurrell reports that those who have studied ancient gravity generally agree it was substantially lower in the geological past — by his estimate about half its present value 200 million years ago, rising since. The open question among them has been whether that increase was continuous or intermittent, and he examines a paper by the German-Romanian geologist Carl Strutinski addressing it through the Lilliput Effect, the reduction in body size observed after mass extinctions.
