"Space-time is Aether II" is an article by Glenn Borchardt published on 6 April 2026 on The Scientific Worldview, continuing the argument of Space-time is Aether I.
Where the first post traced Einstein's denial of the aether and his subsequent turn to space-time, this one sets out the evidence Borchardt holds supports the medium. His summary of the position is that the accumulated successes of tests attributed to space-time have a physical cause after all — the aether that pervades the universe and is, on his account, what is being called dark matter. Einstein, he argues, removed the aether and then reinstated it under another name.
