Al Zeeper is an independent researcher who works on alternative theories of gravity, electricity and relativity. He is known for the website EinsteinGravity.com, on which he presents what he describes as a unification of gravity with electricity, and for a small number of papers published in the General Science Journal.
Biography
Little biographical information about Zeeper has been published. He works outside the academic physics community as an independent researcher and presents his results chiefly through his own website and through open-submission venues rather than peer-reviewed journals. He is listed in the Worldwide List of Dissident Scientists.
Work
Zeeper's central claim is that gravity is not a field effect or a curvature of space-time as described in Einstein's general theory of relativity, but rather a consequence of the continuous expansion of all mass in the universe, so that gravity acts as a pushing rather than an attracting influence. From this starting point he argues that gravity and electricity are aspects of a single phenomenon, and he proposes a single equation which he claims connects electricity, gravity, light, magnetism, quantum mechanics and planetary motion.
He has also produced a series of video presentations setting out these ideas. His views are not accepted within mainstream physics.
