Emmanuil Manousos is a Greek physicist and author known for originating the Theory of Self-variations, an alternative framework in theoretical physics and cosmology. He is listed in The Worldwide List of Dissident Scientists.
Theory of self-variations
Manousos introduced the theory of self-variations (also written "selfvariations") around 2007. Its central postulate is that the rest masses and electric charges of material particles are not constant but increase slightly with the passage of time. A second postulate holds that the consequences of these self-variations propagate through four-dimensional spacetime along paths of zero arc length (dS²=0). From these assumptions he derives a body of equations that he argues account for a range of cosmological observations.
He has claimed the theory correlates several observations treated as unrelated by standard physics, including the increased luminosity distances of supernovae recorded in cosmological data, the absence of antimatter, and features of the cosmic microwave background. These proposals lie outside the accepted framework of relativistic physics and cosmology.

Manousos published "The Cause of the Increased Luminosity Distances of Supernovae Recorded in the Cosmological Data" in Progress in Physics (2013). He is the author of the book Axiomatic Foundation of Theoretical Physics: The Theory of Self-variation, and his work is collected through the APM Institute for the Advancement of Physics and Mathematics.
