Bruce Alan Perreault is an American independent inventor and self-described "radioionics scientist" based in Rumney, New Hampshire, United States. He is the founder of NuEnergy Technologies and is known within the alternative-energy community for his work on so-called radiant energy and "new energy" devices, which he traces to the earlier claims of inventor Thomas Henry Moray. His ideas lie outside the framework of mainstream physics and have not been accepted by the wider scientific community.
Biography
Perreault has a background in electronic equipment troubleshooting and repair, and describes himself as an active experimenter and inventor who works with prototype electronic schematics. He has said that he has been interested in advanced technical concepts since childhood. He operates a small private laboratory and has promoted his research through essays, articles, research reports and self-published books. Perreault has been associated with the Canterbury Creative Group and has presented at conferences organized by Tesla Tech (formerly the International Tesla Society).
Scientific contributions
Perreault is the originator of what he calls the Perreault Atomic Model, a proposed reinterpretation of nuclear structure that he presents as the basis for building radiant-energy power generators. He describes himself as a principal investigator of the early T. H. Moray radiant-energy discoveries and claims to have made a number of related discoveries of his own.
Among the devices he has described are the Perreault Ion Valve (later termed the "star chamber"), which he presents as a controller for a pre-glow discharge in radiant-energy circuits; the "Nu Energy" battery; an ion-capture cell; and a rotary ion-discharge tube. He has also published a proposed method of using ozone to generate electrical energy. These concepts describe apparatus said to extract usable power from ambient radio-frequency energy, atmospheric electricity or matter itself; such claims of over-unity or "free energy" output are not supported by mainstream physics.
