Robyn A. Benson is an American Doctor of Oriental Medicine (DOM), acupuncturist, and author based in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She is the founder of the Santa Fe Soul Center for Regenerative Medicine (formerly the Santa Fe Soul Center for Optimal Health), where she practices an integrative approach that combines acupuncture and Oriental medicine with regenerative and energy-medicine therapies.

Biography

Benson earned a Bachelor of Science degree in sports medicine from the University of Virginia and later completed a master's degree in acupuncture and Oriental medicine. She began her studies of Chinese medicine in 1989 and is board-certified in orthopedic and pediatric acupuncture. She has practiced holistic and integrative medicine for more than three decades and has traveled to more than 70 countries, experiences she credits with shaping her interest in traditional healing practices.

Work

Benson founded the Santa Fe Soul Center in Santa Fe, New Mexico, which she has owned and operated for close to two decades. Her practice focuses on regenerative medicine and integrative care, applying acupuncture, herbal medicine, platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy, ozone therapy, intravenous (IV) therapies, and energy-based technologies with the stated aim of addressing acute and chronic health conditions without pharmaceuticals or surgery.

Benson is the author of the books Travel With Vitality: 7 Simple Solutions to Sleep Well, Staying Fit and Avoiding Illness and The Healthy Conscious Traveler: 8 Pathways to Smart & Effortless Travel. She also hosts a podcast titled YOUNGER, The Art and Science of Youthful Aging.
