Aurora Light is an American metaphysical author, speaker, and broadcaster known as the producer and host of the weekly Internet radio program Vortex Network News. Raised in the Detroit area, she has worked for several decades as a self-described metaphysical teacher and counselor, lecturing on paranormal and New Age themes at conferences in North America and Great Britain.
Biography
Aurora Light grew up in the Detroit, Michigan area, where she has said that early personal experiences drew her toward the study of metaphysics. Beginning in the 1980s she became active on the lecture circuit as a keynote speaker at universities and Whole Life Expo events in cities including Los Angeles, San Francisco, Miami, and New York, as well as in Canada, Mexico, and Europe. She has described herself as a "Cosmic Life Counselor" and holds a minister's license.
She later settled in Sedona, Arizona, a region long associated in New Age circles with energy "vortexes."
Work
Light produces and hosts Vortex Network News (VNN), a weekly Internet radio program presenting interviews and commentary on topics such as unidentified flying objects, extraterrestrial contact, suppressed technologies, alternative health, and government secrecy. The program has been broadcast on platforms including BlogTalkRadio and YouTube, and she has appeared as a guest on numerous other radio and television programs in the United States, Canada, and Great Britain.
In her counseling practice she has offered intuitive health counseling, long-distance healing, and instruction in practices she calls "Trespasso," which she describes as a method of recalling past lives and opening spiritual awareness. She is also a co-founder and director of the Progressive Tech Center, a non-profit organization promoting green and clean-energy technologies.
She co-authored the book Prepare for the Landings!, and has contributed articles to a range of magazines on metaphysical and paranormal subjects.
