Phillips is based in Bracknell, Berkshire, England, and is active within the community surrounding the Society for Interdisciplinary Studies, a British organisation that examines the ideas of Immanuel Velikovsky and other catastrophists across the fields of chronology revision, ancient history, mythology and astronomy. Phillips's contributions include videography documenting the society's talks and conferences.
