Brian O'Leary received a Ph.D. in astronomy from UC Berkeley in 1967 and then served as a NASA scientist-astronaut and assistant professor of astronomy at Cornell. During the 1970s he taught technology assessment and energy policy at the UC Berkeley School of Law and Hampshire College, was special consultant for the U.S. House Subcommittee on Energy and the Environment, and was on the physics faculty at Princeton University. He has advised five presidential candidates on energy, space and science issues. From 1980 until the present, Dr. O'Leary co-founded the International Association for New Science and the Institute of New Energy, has authored many books, and given hundreds of seminars on the frontiers of science and energy. Over the past decade, his main passion has been on investigating the potential of new energy, having co-convened two international conferences, visited numerous researchers, and written two books and founded the New Energy Movement. - New Energy Movement: Conference Speakers
