Stew Engel (born 1936) is an American history graduate and a member of the Natural Philosophy Alliance (NPA). He holds a BA in History.

Biography

Engel became involved with the Natural Philosophy Alliance following a chance encounter with Neil Munch at a joint SWARM AAAS/NPA meeting held in Flagstaff. Having grown dissatisfied for some time with the explanations offered by mainstream physicists, he found that Munch's description of the NPA opened a new avenue for him to explore.

Engel has not authored any papers and does not expect to do so. He has stated that he intends to maintain his NPA membership as a spectator, taking an interest in learning about ideas that he considers unavailable elsewhere.

I'd been unhappy with the explanations coming from establishment physicists for some time and his description of NPA opened a new avenue for me to explore. I've written no papers and, as age takes its toll, am pretty sure I never will. I intend to maintain my membership in NPA as a spectator only. I enjoy learning about many of the ideas that are unavailable elsewhere.
