Totila Leo Grandbergs (October 29, 1944 – March 31, 2018) was a researcher of Latvian descent who lived in Fort Worth, Texas, and took an interest in alternative energy topics including low-energy nuclear reactions (LENR), the liquid fluoride thorium reactor (LFTR), and CDK.
Biography
Totila Leo Grandbergs was born on October 29, 1944, in Geislingen, Germany, into a family of Latvian background. He graduated from Amity High School in 1962. In November 1964 he enlisted in the United States Army, rising to the rank of sergeant; he was stationed for a year in Italy and later at Fort Sill in Lawton, Oklahoma, before receiving an honorable discharge in 1967. He became a naturalized United States citizen in 1984 and made his home in Fort Worth, Texas. He was married to Rae Lynn Arrington Grandbergs. Grandbergs died on March 31, 2018, in Jones County, Texas, at the age of 73, and was interred at the Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Abilene.
