Sterling Roe Beck (October 30, 1947 – September 3, 2021) was an American physicist and engineer from Genola, Utah, and a military veteran. He was associated with the dissident-science community that critically re-examines mainstream theories of modern physics, and his interests centered on Relativity, Quantum Mechanics, and Cosmology approached from a common-sense standpoint.
Biography
Sterling Roe Beck was born on October 30, 1947. He lived in Genola, Utah. Beck served in the United States military, and military honors were rendered at his interment. He died on September 3, 2021. A memorial service was held on September 10, 2021, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Genola, followed by a graveside service with military honors at the Genola Town Cemetery.
Work
Beck worked as a physicist and engineer. Within the dissident-science community he took an interest in the foundations of modern physics, examining questions in Relativity, Quantum Mechanics, and Cosmology from what he described as a common-sense perspective.
