Susan Kaye Schirott (born February 27, 1954) is an American healthcare administrator and organizer associated with the Electric Universe movement. She served for many years as the president of T-Bolts Group, Inc., the organizing body behind The Thunderbolts Project, and has held volunteer roles as conference director, communications director, and volunteer coordinator for the project's annual Electric Universe conferences.
Biography
Schirott spent much of her professional career in community healthcare. For roughly twenty years she worked as the executive director of a federally funded community health center serving low-income populations. Earlier in her career she directed a battered women's shelter and operated a law office.
She has described herself as a longtime student of ageless wisdom and esoteric philosophy, drawing in particular on the writings of A. A. Bailey. This interest in perennial and Theosophical traditions, which hold that the universe is electric and alive, connected to her later involvement with the Electric Universe community.
After retiring, Schirott settled in rural northern Wisconsin, in the Cable area between the Namekagon River and Mossback Lake, where she has volunteered at a local environmental college. She has also maintained a personal blog and returned to photography as a hobby.
Work
Schirott is best known within dissident-science circles for her administrative and organizational work in support of the Electric Universe movement. She served as president and chief officer of T-Bolts Group, Inc., a nonprofit based in Cable, Wisconsin, that supports The Thunderbolts Project, a group promoting the Electric Universe model of cosmology led by David Talbott and Wallace Thornhill.
In connection with this work she acted as conference director, communications director, and volunteer coordinator for the project's annual Electric Universe conferences (such as EU2014, EU2015, EU2016, and EU2017). She was also listed as an officer of the International Science Foundation, serving as its secretary-treasurer.
