Rys was raised in southeastern Massachusetts and graduated from Bridgewater State University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics. Rys produces content under the name Alien Scientist through the AlienScientist YouTube channel and the website AlienScientist.com, which serve as archives for his research and commentary.
