			Sterling Roe Beck was born on October 30, 1947. He lived in Genola, Utah. Beck served in the United States military, and military honors were rendered at his interment. He died on September 3, 2021. A memorial service was held on September 10, 2021, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Genola, followed by a graveside service with military honors at the Genola Town Cemetery.

			Beck worked as a physicist and engineer. Within the dissident-science community he took an interest in the foundations of modern physics, examining questions in [[Relativity]], [[Quantum Mechanics]], and [[Cosmology]] from what he described as a common-sense perspective.
