			Kokus's research centers on the proposition that several unconventional observations in astronomy and geophysics can be unified within a single framework. He has argued that quantized [[redshift]]s of galaxies and quasars and the hypothesis of an [[Expansion tectonics\|expanding Earth]] are mutually compatible, and he has related these ideas to the [[fine-structure constant]] and to cosmic structure.
