			Vujovic was born in 1933 in the village of Komarno, Montenegro. He graduated from medical school in Serbia in 1961 and practiced medicine in Montenegro, Austria and Germany before immigrating to the United States in 1969. He practiced internal medicine in New York City for more than 50 years, retiring in 2019 from Woodhull Hospital in Brooklyn. During the 1970s he assisted the Yugoslav Medical Society and hospitals in Yugoslavia with cancer treatment protocols in the fields of hematology and oncology. He died on November 28, 2021, at the age of 88, in his native village of Komarno, Montenegro.

			==Work==
			Vujovic devoted much of his life to preserving and promoting the legacy of the inventor [[Tesla\|Nikola Tesla]]. As an officer of the Tesla Memorial Society of New York, established in 1979, he edited the society's website and produced educational materials on Tesla's life and work. He worked with New York City officials to establish the Nikola Tesla Corner street sign at the intersection of 6th Avenue and 40th Street in Manhattan, and coordinated the placement of Nikola Tesla commemorative plaques at the New Yorker Hotel (2001) and the Radio Wave Building. He also promoted July 10, Tesla's birthday, as an international "Tesla Day" dedicated to science and world peace.

			Vujovic co-authored the documentary film ''Nikola Tesla: The Genius Who Lit the World'', which was translated into German, French and Serbian, and produced the documentaries ''From Immigrant to Inventor: Michael Pupin Remembered'' and ''The Kingdom of Montenegro''. He authored the two-volume work ''Tribute to Nikola Tesla'' as well as numerous articles about Tesla and Serbian and Montenegrin history.
