The paper discusses experiments that have been interpreted as showing faster-than-light propagation, argues that special relativity can be extended to accommodate superluminal objects (tachyons), and offers a resolution of the classical causal paradoxes originally posed by Tolman through the mechanics of tachyons.&lt;br /&gt;
