'''Feilin Tang''' is a researcher known for proposing a "Theory of Gravity-Spin Field", an alternative treatment of gravitation. He is listed in ''[[The Worldwide List of Dissident Scientists]]''.

==Work==
Tang published a series of papers through the General Science Journal in 2009 developing his gravitational ideas. In "The Theory of Gravity-Spin Field" he argues that, starting from a local Lorentz invariance in what he calls an "inner Lorentz spacetime", there exists a fifth mechanical field — a spin field — alongside the conventional interactions, and he develops a combined gravity–spin field theory on this basis.

His related papers apply his gravitational framework to standard tests of gravity, including light deflection, planetary orbits and radar echo delay in a spherically symmetric field, a static spherically symmetric vacuum solution, a weak-field linear approximation of the gravitational equations, and a vierbein (tetrad) formulation of the field equations. These ideas lie outside the mainstream of general relativity and have appeared only in the General Science Journal, an open venue for alternative and dissident science.
