==Abstract==

Einstein arrived to the Special Theory of Relativity by basing it on the principle of relativity, which he extended to electro-magnetic phenomena, and on the principle of the constancy of the velocity of light.&nbsp; Starting from these presuppositions, he arrived on the following well-known formulae of Lorentz, which had already been obtained by Poincare in the theory of the fixed ether.
