==Biography==
Cordova completed several undergraduate degrees, reported as including a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (with a minor in music), a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics (with a minor in physics), and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. He later earned a Master of Science in Applied Physics from Johns Hopkins University. His involvement with [[intelligent design]] began during his studies at George Mason University, where in 2005 he organized an Intelligent Design and Evolution Awareness (IDEA) club.

Professionally, Cordova worked as an engineer and scientist in the aerospace and defense sector, including positions associated with the MITRE Corporation and the U.S. Army Night Vision Laboratory. He has also described work in population genetics and protein biology in collaboration with Cornell University geneticist John C. Sanford. In addition to his engineering career, he has managed a small private investment fund and has taught and lectured on Christian apologetics.

Cordova is known primarily as a writer and public advocate for [[intelligent design]] and young-earth creationism, positions that lie outside the mainstream scientific consensus on evolution and cosmology.
