After a career in software research and development in Silicon Valley, he relocated to Ireland in 1994 and turned to writing on social organization, globalization, and, in later years, alternative approaches to [[cosmology]], [[consciousness]], [[climate]], and [[scalar waves]].

==Biography==
Moore worked for many years in the software research and development industry in Silicon Valley, California. In 1994 he left that career and moved to rural [[Wexford]], Ireland, where he began investigating how the wider world functions, describing the effort as an attempt to generate and test hypotheses about society through research and dialogue.

In Ireland he launched a number of email discussion forums and circulated essays to subscribers, several of whom were magazine editors, and his articles subsequently appeared in publications worldwide. His writings are archived at his website, cyberjournal.org. By the late 1990s he had completed an analysis of globalization, drawing on the work of writers such as Michel Chossudovsky and David Korten, and he went on to argue for a global grassroots movement as a means of social transformation.

==Work==
Moore's early published work centered on globalization, media, and democratic social change. His book ''Escaping the Matrix: How We the People Can Change the World'' was published in 2005, presenting his analysis of contemporary society and his case for community-based, participatory forms of governance.

In later years his interests broadened to include cosmology and physics as viewed through the [[Electric Universe]] framework associated with the [[Thunderbolts Project]]. He presented "The Pulsating Universe and Planet Earth" at the Electric Universe EU2015 conference in 2015, and produced further material such as "A Brief History of Cosmology."
