==Biography==
Bhunia graduated from the University of Calcutta in the sciences, along with other professional qualifications. Rather than pursuing an academic research post, he chose a career in social development, describing himself as an independent thinker who worked as a development planner and charity worker aimed at reducing poverty pressures on local socio-environmental ecosystems. He is associated with entrepreneurship development, grassroots innovation, and youth-leadership initiatives in India.

In parallel with his development work, Bhunia spent nearly thirty years developing an independent theoretical-physics framework aimed at unification, publishing several papers and books on the subject.

==Work==
Bhunia's central project is a proposed "unified theory of everything" that seeks to fuse Special and General Relativity with the Standard Model of particle physics under a single equation. He describes a quantized hypothesis for all inertial motions, framed in a ten-dimensional model in which the dimensions are treated as inversely correlated within any given event. From this framework he claims the emergence of seven "Universal Inverse Constants" that he presents as new to physics.

He set out this program in a series of papers published in a United States journal between 2014 and 2018, the first titled "A Common Definition for All Particles in Nature," and later expanded it in book-length form. His work is independent research and has not been adopted within mainstream theoretical physics.
